PACKING AND MARKING: The material shall be supplied in unsplice lengths in multiple of 2.1/2.2 Kms (i.e 10.5/12.6/25.2/50.4) or as per P.O , in plastic spools of dimensions:
Flange Diameter 240 mm +/- 10 %
Barrel diameter 150 mm +/- 10 %
Traverse diameter 100 mm +/- 10 % & 210 mm � 10 %

The material shall be packed in dust and moisture free packing., preferably with a plastic case. The packing should be good enough to withstand the rough handling during transportation. Temperature variation during transportation should not degrade the optical fiber properties. Each test report should have the following information

CRITERIA FOR ACCEPTANCE: The supplies complying with the above conditions and yielding satisfactory results in processing shall be accepted. The Supplier will provide the CACT source approval certificate.

TEST CERTIFICATES: Supplier will furnish test certificates (Hard copy and an 3 � Floppy or Soft Copy) with each consignment certifying the conformity of all the parameters as per specifications & Group Refractive Index. |
