Freelance English-Chinese Interpreters in China

Orientus is a Chinese-owned company headquartered in Seattle, Washington, USA (www.orientus.org). We provide top notch English-Chinese interpreters for American Companies who conduct business in mainland China.


Due to business expansion, we are recruiting a number of freelance English-Chinese Interpreters in all cities in China.

Requirements:

- Fluent spoken English with minimal accent

- More than 3 year’s business interpreting experience or other working experience in English-Speaking environment

- Good communication and negotiation skills

- Bachelor’s degree or above in any discipline

- Work or study experience in International business, trade, sourcing and purchasing is preferred

- Work or study experience abroad is preferred

- Interpreting certificate is a plus, but not required

- Entrepreneurial, business-minded, passionate, and eager to succeed


Salary:

Daily salary for consecutive interpreting ranges from 400-600 Chinese Yuan depending individual experiences, qualifications and personal business skills.

Salary for simultaneous interpreting can be discussed on the individual basis.
